Photo montage

Photomontage - is the process and result of making a composite photograph by cutting and joining a number of other photographs. The composite picture was sometimes photographed so that the final image is converted back into a seamless photographic print. A similar method, although one that does not use film, is realized today through image-editing software - photo shop for example.

Here is some of my work that i completed relating to using photo shop and montage images.

This is my blanka piece that i completed of twilight. We had look at come blanka artists then create our own blanka piece i chose twilight as it is and interesting poster to create as a blanka piece. To create this i uses photoshop.

Here are some images that have been digitally manipulated in Photoshop to create the effect of a real landscape as you can see this image below has a wide range of countries and traditions put in to one landscape to make it look like it is as one. I really like this type of photo montage as it is very interesting and very realistic.

 As you can see from this image you can tell this has been digitally manipulated since how well the images blend in together and the images as almost see through using effects.




Raoul Hausmann

He was an Austrian artist and writer. One of the key figures in Berlin dada, his experimental photographic collages,  sound poetry and institutional critiques would have a profound influence on the European Avant-Garde in the aftermath of World War I.

I like the way Raoul Hausmann works as his collages a very neat and well digitally manipulated.
